MyChildrensPortal is where you can access medical records, schedule visits, request refills, message care teams and more! Children’s National believes that trust and communication are essential for building strong relationships between the care team, patients and caregivers.

Please do not use the patient portal if your child requires immediate assistance. Call your physician's office directly. If it is a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Ask Your Care Team Members For an Invitation

When you call to schedule an appointment or sign in at the desk. You can also ask for an invitation during your appointment and when checking out.

Check Your Email For The Invitation

The invite expires to protect your privacy, so please claim the invite promptly.

Log in to the Portal

You can also use the MyChildrensPortal app.

Attention

To create your account, you will need your medical record number (MRN). Your MRN can be found on discharge papers, clinic notes, your hospital wristband, or a billing statement. You can also obtain your MRN by calling Medical Records at 202-476-5267 and selecting option 7.

Need additional help?

You can reset your MyChildrensPortal password from the app or the portal login page. If you’re still having problems, call 877-621-8014 and select option 2.
