Nurse Practitioner Clinical Rotation

If you are interested in our nurse practitioner clinical rotation, please contact the graduate student nursing team.

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are a group of medical professionals that include physician assistants, anesthesiology assistants, advanced practice registered nurses and nurse practitioners. APPs are part of the healthcare team and are committed to putting patients first. APPs are highly knowledgeable and serve as an integral part of the development and implementation of our patients' personalized treatment plans.

Children's National Hospital employs over 200 APPs on the medical staff. Our APPs practice in several different specialty and sub-specialty areas, at locations in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and are nationally board-certified in the specialty areas of pediatrics, family and newborn populations.
