The Volunteer Services Department manages Dr. Bear’s Closet, which is named after the Children’s National Hospital beloved mascot, Dr. Bear! Dr. Bear’s Closet includes donated toys, games, clothing and personal care items for patients and their families. Donating to Dr. Bear’s Closet is a great way to give back and make a lasting impact on a child’s visit to the hospital. You can donate toys and games directly to Dr. Bear’s Closet through our online wish list! Items will be directly shipped to the Volunteer Services office and utilized throughout the year.

Brand new items can be shipped/mailed directly to the Volunteer Services office at the address below. Please also complete and include our In-Kind Donation Form (PDF).
