Types of Therapy Plans

    3 to 5 visits per week

    Intensive therapy is usually for a short length of time, and best for children with immediate and complex needs. This is recommended when:

    • The child is at risk of losing function
    • The child is able to make quick progress toward goals
    • The child's condition changes rapidly and requires frequent changes to the plan of care
    • Intense family education and training is required
    • The child needs a skilled therapist with specialized knowledge, handling, skills and/or equipment can only be provided by a licensed clinician.
