Cystic Fibrosis Center

Children’s National's Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center offers a multidisciplinary team of specialists who see to all aspects of care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages with CF.

HIV / AIDS Services

Children’s National has had an HIV/AIDS program since the early 1980s, and treats the majority of HIV positive children and teens in the region. More than 25 years after we diagnosed our first patient, we can point to dramatic progress made in managing and living with HIV.

Kidney Transplantation

The Kidney Transplantation Program is the only one of its kind in the Washington, D.C., area focused on the needs of children and teens with kidney disease. Additionally, it is the region's only Medicare-approved center for kidney transplants in children and teens.
