Children's National Celebrates Earth Day and Bring Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day April 26, 2013

Kurt Newman, MD, President and CEO, Children's National, joins daughters and sons of staff members for a joint celebration of Earth Day and Bring Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Children and staff planted a vegetable garden and distributed mylar balloons to patients in the hospital unable to attend the Earth Day festivities. Additionally, Children’s National signed an Energy Star Partnership agreement and committed to purchasing only post-consumer recycled paper and sustainable ink toner for office needs.
