Research
Our fellows will have at least one day a week (usually 25-30% time) of protected time for research with weekly research team meetings. Fellows are matched to an existing research project based on interest, experience and availability. Each fellow is assigned a primary research mentor to guide their experience. The fellow is encouraged to be an active member of their research team and is supported in presenting at professional conferences, as well as pursuing scholarship in manuscript development and/or grant application, driven by trainee interest and research goals. Fellows with strong interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine can be supported to extend their fellowship into a second year, to provide additional opportunities for research training and mentorship.
