Eligible applicants must have completed 3 years of training in an ACGME or ACGME-International accredited anesthesiology residency program and be board-eligible or board-certified as approved by the Anesthesiology Residency Review Committee (RRC). We accept applications submitted through the SF Match Program, and we conduct interviews from February through May. The fellowship officially begins August 1st but may vary depending on the needs of the incoming fellow and approval from the Program Director.

Exceptions: Active military personnel may apply outside the usual cycle and SF Match. If a position becomes available after the match, we may consider applications from exceptionally qualified international graduates from non-ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency programs who demonstrate not only clinical excellence but outstanding scholarship and/or leadership. Please contact the Program Coordinator directly for additional information regarding exceptions.
