The Hyperactivity, Attention, and Learning Problems (HALP) Clinic at Children's National provides comprehensive evaluations to children and adolescents who present with school problems such as inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and academic underachievement.
Following the evaluation, children are referred back to their pediatrician for follow-up care, referred to another health provider, or offered psycho-social treatment at the clinic.
Mark L. Batshaw, MD, received the Marion Kingsbury Award for Distinguished Service and Outstanding Achievement from The Kingsbury Center.
This holiday season, your life-changing donation to Children’s National brightens a child’s day and lights up special Dr. Bears in our hospital and across the region. Please give generously to ensure every child can receive exceptional care, regardless of their illness, injury or ability to pay.
