Our intake coordinator will assist with appointment scheduling, insurance issues, and pre-appointment paperwork and can be reached at 202-476-5980 and choose option 1 for scheduling as a new patient. Required clinic forms will be mailed to you and must be returned to us before the appointment can be scheduled. You should receive a call for an appointment within a week from the date you mailed your intake packet. Calls regarding general clinic inquiries and questions regarding the status of your packet should be answered within 48 working hours. If there is a longer delay, please contact Dr. Mary Samba, Clinic Operations Manager, at 202-476-3862. If you have not obtained a response within 5 working days, please contact Dr. David Call, Medical Director, at 202-476-4479.
Confirming appointments:
It is advisable to call our clinic staff to confirm the appointment one day before the appointment. This will insure that if there is any last minute complication you can be re-scheduled without come in personally. Such last minute complications occur rarely, but they can occur.
Cancelling or late for appointments:
If you need to cancel the appointment, please call 202-476-5980 as soon as possible. Since typically there is a waiting list, your promptness may allow us to schedule someone else and re-schedule you with less delay. If you are late for the appointment or need to cancel at the last minute, please call the Outpatient Psychiatry clinic's front desk at 202-476-5980.
