Interventional Radiology performs a wide variety of procedures, including:

Biopsies:

• Fine needle aspiration 
• Image guided biopsies

Drainages:

• Abscess drainage
• Chest tubes, fibrinolytic therapy and thoracentesis

Enteral Access:

• Percutaneous cecostomy tube placement and maintenance (includes Malones)
• Percutaneous gastro-jejunostomy (G-J) tube placement and maintenance
• Percutaneous gastrostomy (G) tube placement

Vascular Access:

• Implanted venous ports
• Peripherally inserted central catheter (Video)
• Tunneled venous catheters
• Temporary central venous catheters

Other:

• Arthrogram (Video)
• Bile duct evaluation, biliary drains and gall bladder drains
• Dialysis fistula or graft intervention *
• Esophageal dilation and embolization (Varicocele embolization) *
