New Graduate Nursing Residency (Transition to Practice Program)

American Nurses Credentialing Center Practice Transition Program accreditation logoOur New Graduate Nursing Residency Program, also known as our Transition to Practice Program (TPP), is Accredited with Distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The 12-month program is designed to provide the nurse resident with an opportunity to transition into the role of a professional nurse under the guidance and support of our clinical nursing staff, nurse educators and program facilitators.

The TPP is offered twice a year to newly-licensed graduate nurses from an accredited nursing program with a passion for children. All new graduates with less than one year of clinical experience are eligible to participate in the program after obtaining licensure. 

Openings are posted in our online job listings as Registered Nurse I or RN I positions. We recommend that students begin their job search at the beginning of their last semester of nursing school. To apply, search for RN I openings. You may apply to multiple units.

  • Resume: Be sure to outline clinical experience * 
  • Transcript (Official or unofficial)*
  • Two letters of reference: One letter should be from clinical faculty *
