Providing Continuous, Quality Care for Pediatric Patients at Home: Collaboration between Children's National Health System and Johns Hopkins Pediatrics at Home
Washington, DC – Children’s National Health System is pleased to announce a collaborative affiliation agreement with Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, Pediatrics at Home, to provide home-based care to pediatric patients.
While patients and families will continue to have a choice in their selection of home care providers, Pediatrics at Home is a Children’s National preferred provider for all home-based services which the company provides.
“By working together, Children’s National and Johns Hopkins Pediatrics at Home are hoping to address the unique healthcare challenges that face the Washington, DC, metropolitan population,” said Kathleen Rigney-Radford, MSN, RN, CCM, and Director of Clinical Resource Management at Children’s National. “Together we are committed to improve transitions of care, reduce readmissions, and increase access for home-based services across the region.”
Pediatrics at Home is a specialized company of Johns Hopkins Home Care Group and offers three lines of home-based healthcare: Home Medical Equipment and Respiratory Services, Infusion and Enteral Nutrition Services, and Home Health. Additionally, the company offers specialty programs in Enteral Management and Feeding Disorders, Oncology, Infectious Disease Management, Palliative Care, and Complex Respiratory Disease.
