Join us for a three-part panel discussion on pain medicine research, cardiorespiratory conditions in infants and more at today's Grand Rounds session.

The 2019 Michael Lectureship includes three speakers this year:

  • Amir Tamiz, Ph.D. is an associate director at National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). He will share NINDS' initiatives to enable the development of effective therapies.
  • John Konsin is co-founder & CEO of Prapela, a company promoting a stochastic vibrotactile stimulation (SVS) product. Konsin will present, "Prapela SVS: A promising non-pharmacological treatment for improving cardiorespiratory conditions and irritability in infants."
  • Julia C. Finkel, M.D., is director of pain medicine research and development at Children's National.
