At Children’s National Hospital, we take many precautions to protect our patients, families and staff. We are following the recommendation of D.C. Department of Health that everyone visiting any Children’s National facility must continue to wear a mask to protect our patients. We also request that visitors experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or other contagious illness to please stay home at this time.

COVID-19 Family and Caregiver Visitation Policy

We are taking extra steps to protect our patients, families and staff, including updating our visitation policy. Two parents/caregivers can accompany a child for an appointment or ED visit and two parents/caregivers can be at a child’s bedside at a time.

Pediatric Post-COVID Program

Our pediatric Post-COVID Program provides families with access to multiple providers who are experienced in the evaluation and management of children and adolescents affected by long COVID – all at one appointment in one convenient location.
