Two Children's Physicians Quoted in US News Article Covering Mental Health Screening

Lee Beers, MD, Diana L. and Stephen A. Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health, and Lisa Cullins, MD, Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine, were both quoted in an article about hospital-based efforts to better screen and treat children's mental health issues. DC Mental Health Access in Pediatrics, a program directed by Dr. Beers, was featured for its success in boosting adolescent mental health screening rates, which allows the program to catch kids "before they end up in the ER," says Dr. Beers.
