The concussion device industry is growing larger with the development of a new material from UPenn that could eventually help detect whether or not a hit is hard enough to cause brain injury. Gerard Gioia, PhD, Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine, says developments like these are welcome because "the earlier we can detect this problem, the safer that individual will be."
