Children's Expert Talks about Curing Diseases through Stem Cell Treatments

David Jacobsohn, MD, ScM, Division Chief of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, talks to WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland about stem cells and how they're used to treat sickle cell disease, leukemia, and other immunodeficiency diseases. Dr. Jacobsohn encourages mothers to donate cord blood to cord blood banks to help children in need of donors.
