Children's National Researchers Find Higher Calcium Intake Can Reduce Genetic Risk of Diabetes

Laura Tosi, MD, and Joseph Devaney, PhD, conducted a study which found that African American children with a genetic predisposition to diabetes may be able to reduce their risk by getting the USDA-recommended dose of calcium. They shared their findings with Medical Xpress.
