With increased concussion hype kids’ participation in sports seems to be on the decline. Doctors say the risk from inactivity can be greater than the danger of harm from concussions. Marc DiFazio, MD, pediatric neurologist, says parents shouldn't stop children from playing sports due to worry of potentially getting a concussion.
