Children's National Expert Says Bedsharing Linked to SIDS

Rachel Moon, MD, a Children's National pediatrician and SIDS expert, who conducted a recent AAP study on SIDS says researchers found for the first time that risks of SIDS may differ for infants by age. Children younger than four months may be more at risk of death due to bed sharing while infants older than four months may be more at risk from objects in the bed.

Dr. Moon spoke to the Washington Informer about the study.
