Cardiologist Working to Save Ugandan Kids at Risk of Preventable Death

Cardiologist Andrea Beaton, MD, discusses her work with Screening, Treatment, and Prevention of Rheumatic Heart Disease in Uganda (SToP RHD Uganda), an early intervention program for children with rheumatic heart disease with the Huffington Post. The program is a collaboration between many institutions including Children's National, Case Western Reserve University, and the Ugandan Heart Institute.
