Children’s National Northern Virginia Regional Outpatient Center moves locations and will reopen August 28

Washington, DC – To better meet the needs of patients and families, the Children’s National Medical Center Northern Virginia Regional Outpatient Center (ROC) and Neurosurgery office this week transitioned to a new, state-of-the-art facility less than a mile from their current locale.

The move took place on Saturday, August 25; and the new location will open on Tuesday, August 28. The new location is 3023 Hamaker Court, Fairfax, VA, the same building as the affiliated private practice, Children’s National Specialists of Virginia. The Children’s National Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders of Northern Virginia is remaining at its current Arlington Boulevard location.

“For more than 20 years, Children’s National has offered outpatient specialty care throughout the metro area through our regional outpatient centers; this move continues our commitment to making care accessible,” said Denice Cora-Bramble, MD, MBA, FAAP, Acting Executive Vice President, Ambulatory Services and Senior Vice President, The Diana L. and Stephen A. Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health. “The move to a new facility with ample parking makes it even easier for patients and families to access specialty care in their own neighborhoods.”

Children’s Regional Outpatient Center of Northern Virginia offers outpatient visits with pediatric specialists in cardiology, neurology, adolescent medicine, dermatology, developmental pediatrics, endocrinology/diabetes, genetics, nephrology, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychiatry, psychology, and pulmonary medicine. The neurosurgery team sees patients for assessments, surgery follow-up, and ongoing care.

Children’s National also has out patient centers in Rockville, Laurel, Upper Marlboro, Annapolis, Frederick, and in the District of Columbia in Spring Valley. Outpatient clinics also are located on the Sheikh Zayed campus, Michigan Avenue, NW.
