The HSC Pediatric Center
Our center provides both inpatient and outpatient programs. The HSC Pediatric Center is one component of The HSC Health Care System, a nonprofit healthcare organization committed to serving people with complex healthcare needs and eliminating barriers to health services.

Our inpatient programs provide care for children who are ready to leave a traditional hospital but aren’t quite ready to go home. We also provide outpatient services that allow your child to continue therapy services without interruption.
- Specialty expertise. We offer a team approach to healthcare and specialize in premature infants, developmental disabilities, feeding difficulties, heart and lung diseases, ventilator-dependency, traumatic injuries, wound care, IV therapy and many other medically complex health conditions.
At a Glance
The HSC Pediatric Center (HSCPC) is the only pediatric facility in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to providing rehabilitation and transitional care for children and adolescents. Our partnership with Children’s National allows us to provide the best care for children who are leaving a traditional hospital and are not quite ready to be cared for at home.
