Social Work Field Placement Program

The members of our dedicated social work team believe strongly in the education of future social work professionals. Having benefited from a diverse range of student placement experiences during our own education, we recognize the commitment to social work students as the future of our profession.

Our Social Work Field Placement Program is currently available for 2nd Year and Advanced Standing MSW students only. The program is run by the social work division of our Family Services Department.  Our program provides students the opportunity to learn medical social work from highly skilled clinicians. During their field placement, students will participate in all aspects of medical social work – following patients and their families from diagnosis through discharge and end of life care.
