Pediatric Surgery Fellowship

The Division of General and Thoracic Surgery offers pediatric surgical training in a two-year ACGME-accredited program. The Pediatric Surgery Fellowship was started in 1964 under the leadership of Judson Randolph, M.D., who was instrumental in developing the specialty of pediatric surgery and establishing the requirements for a two-year training program for pediatric surgery in the United States.

Our tradition is training surgeons in the practice of pediatric surgery who are competent in every aspect of the pediatric surgical care of infants and children. Our graduates provide the highest quality surgical care and have successful careers in both academic and private practice.
