Managing Maisie's Complex Case
When Maisie was born, she was transported to Children’s National where experts managed her complex case of esophageal atresia, which ultimately required three surgeries and an extended stay at the hospital.

- Helping Thomas Live a Healthy and Happy Life
Thomas is a busy kid who loves birthday parties and chocolate cake. But his life wasn"t always so sweet. He was born with a rare congenital combination known as VACTERL association.
- Lucie
Lucie, age 8, loves gymnastics and swimming and earned her orange belt in Taekwondo. In 2023, she spent a week at Children's National due to a rare condition that slows the flow of bile from the liver to the small intestines and can lead to a range of health issues.
- Stella's Story
When she and her twin sister were born in 2019, Stella was diagnosed with an anorectal malformation. Her surgeon in Greece recommended that the family see international expert Marc Levitt, MD, and his team for the surgery, due to his vast experience in repairing challenging cases like Stella's.
