Program Eligibility

All students must maintain a satisfactory academic record each grading period and ensure they are available to attend the 8 to 10 week summer internship to be considered eligible.

High School Students

Graduates of Spring 2025.

Seniors who have selected nursing as their major and accepted in an accredited nursing program within 2 years of starting college to continue in the Conway Nursing Pathway Program.

 

ADN-BSN Students

Graduates of 2025 and 2026. 

Nursing students in an accredited associate degree programs committed to an accredited baccalaureate education.

Pre-BSN Students

Graduates of 2025, 2026, 2027.

College nursing students who have been accepted in an accredited nursing program.

Screening and Interviews

The Pre-BSN student summer immersion program (Nurse Trainee Pathfinders) runs from Wednesday May 28, 2025 – Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025.

Learn More About the Program

    • 3.0 GPA or higher 
    • In good academic standing 

    Partner schools and programs will be required to submit the following for nomination of each nominee:

    • Two letters of recommendation, one of the letters must be from a professor/educator/school counselor.
    • Student essay demonstrating the student’s interest in being a registered professional pediatric nurse. We strongly recommend that the student emphasize key factors influencing their choice to pursue nursing as a profession and identify why they believe a mentoring relationship will facilitate their success.
    • PDF electronic copy of school transcript; if selected, an official transcript will be required.
