Children’s National Hospital offers the only multidisciplinary reproductive endocrine program for young girls and teens in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. The Reproductive Endocrine Clinic ensures easy access to specialists in both pediatric gynecology and endocrinology in a single visit, facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions. The complex clinic is coordinated by an endocrinologist at Children's National and an obstetrician/gynecologist with expertise in pediatric gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
We provide sensitive and individual care for conditions including:
- Pre-pubertal vaginal bleeding
- Absence of menses
- Abnormal menstrual bleeding
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome
- Primary ovarian insufficiency
- Congenital abnormalities of the genital organs
