Established in 2003, the overarching mission of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital (CNH) is to develop the next generation of academic leaders in the field of pediatric hospital medicine. Our ACGME-accredited three year program aims to train each fellow to provide excellent clinical care to hospitalized children, become exemplary medical educators, cultivate skills to effectively change systems of care to improve quality, enhance their knowledge of child advocacy and develop themselves as independent investigators in scholarly domains that directly impact the patients they serve.
