    Abigail Brandt, MA, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who works with children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment for social communication/pragmatic language, Autism Spectrum Disorders and oral motor/sensory-based feeding disorders. Additionally, she hosts preschool social skills groups at CASD to promote social communication skills in children 3-5 years of age.

    Colleen Morgan, MA, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who works with children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment for social communication/pragmatic language and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Additionally, she works as a member of the Augmentative and Alternative Communication team to support families in obtaining and implementing the use of alternative communication systems.

    Biography

    Shane Henise serves as a patient navigator on the Gender Services team. Shane has been working with the transgender community for 10 years. Shane’s background is in both counseling and media work. He graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with his master of education in psychological counseling in 2017, specializing in care for the LGBTQ community. In his most recent position, he worked as a Campaigns Manager with GLAAD, developing social media campaigns aimed at raising awareness and acceptance for the trans community. Shane also has a love of research and has publications on transgender microaggressions. As a transgender man, Shane has not only helped others navigate the system professionally but brings a personal experience and knowledge as well.
