Biography
Colleen Iler, RN, BSN, graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology before attending University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she earned a master's of science as a clinical nurse leader. After graduation, Colleen worked on the Heart and Kidney Unit at Children’s National Hospital, where she discovered her passion for heart transplant. She became the heart transplant coordinator in February 2019.
