Brooke Bokor, M.D., M.P.H., is a double board-certified Assistant Professor in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's National Health System as well as the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Director and Director of Student and Resident Education. Her practice at the Sheikh Zayed Campus for Advanced Children's Medicine focuses on primary and consultative care for adolescents ages 12-21, as well as inpatient care. She covers a wide range of health issues concerning male and female adolescents, including scrotal and breast disorders, menstrual cycle disorders and suppression, sexuality counseling, abstinence and contraception counseling, expert first time pelvic examination, sexually transmitted infections, eating disorders, tobacco cessation and behavioral risk counseling. Dr. Bokor also delivers primary care to male adolescents within Maryland detention centers. She is a member of the Society for Adolescent Health & Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bokor's academic pursuits integrate quality improvement with care delivery.
Dr. Bokor is a native of Long Island, New York, and has lived in Washington, DC, since joining the Children's National family for pediatric residency training.
