Biography

Ankoor Y. Shah, M.D., M.P.H., is the medical director for the IMPACT DC Asthma Clinic, an attending general pediatrician at Children’s Health Center at THEARC and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.

Though originally from Arkansas, Dr. Shah finished his medical and public health education at Emory University in Atlanta. Afterwards, he completed a pediatric residency and chief residency at Children’s National Health System. He received an MBA from the George Washington University School of Business. Dr. Shah's clinical and academic interests include improving pediatric population health and reducing child health asthma disparities.
