Specific plan information is available from the Human Resources department. Benefits are available to employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week in a benefits budgeted position.

    Children's National Hospital offers employees the opportunity to participate in either the Children’s Affiliates' Tax Deferred Annuity (403b) Plan or the Children’s Affiliates' 401(k) Plan by making pre-tax contributions from their gross salary.

    Children's National Hospital offers staff the opportunity to elect to participate in flexible spending account(s) (FSA). An FSA is a benefit established under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code designed to provide employees with the opportunity to pay for certain medical and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.

    Children's National Hospital offers parking at the main hospital location based on staff position and shift worked for a modest monthly fee. Reduced fee off-site parking is available to all staff at a nearby lot with shuttle service.
