Neha Shah, M.D., is an Associate Division Chief at Children’s National and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington D.C. As a former graduate and now director of the Hospitalist Fellowship Program at Children’s National, she has been intimately involved with curriculum development, as well as program assessment.
Nationally, she has played an instrumental role in the recognition of pediatric hospital medicine (PHM) as a subspecialty of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Specifically, she has served as chair for the Council of PHM Fellowship Directors, wrote portions of the petition for certification submitted to the ABP and now serves on the inaugural PHM subboard. She is passionate about mentorship and coaching for PHM trainees and faculty with a specific interest in maintaining joy and well-being in academic medicine. Learn from Dr. Shah in this webinar.
