The Sickle Cell Program at Children’s National Hospital invites you to our first ever virtual family education symposium to discuss COVID-19, gene therapy, blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) and new therapies.
The Sickle Cell Program at Children’s National Hospital invites you to our first ever virtual family education symposium. This year, the symposium will take place virtually via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Derek Robertson, President of the Maryland Sickle Cell Disease Association, Inc., will be our guest speaker. The symposium will consist of speakers from the Sickle Cell Program and the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program.
Topics will include COVID-19, gene therapy, blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) and new therapies. There will also be a BMT panel discussion.
