COVID-19 Resources for Families

At Children's National, the health and safety of your family are at the heart of every decision we make. During this challenging time, we are doing everything we can to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 on your family.

COVID-19 Vaccine for Kids Ages 6 Months and Up

  • Children's National Hospital will be administering the approved vaccine to patients at primary care visits, in some specialty outpatient clinics as part of routine visits, and to inpatients who qualify.
  • Families should call their pediatrician, retail pharmacies, local health departments and schools to obtain the vaccine for their child. Families can visit www.vaccines.gov to find a location to receive the vaccine.
  • The vaccine is safe and effective in preventing COVID-19. If you have questions about the vaccine, a list of COVID-19 Vaccine FAQs are available.
