Kathleen Walters, RDN, is a registered dietitian nutritionist from the Northern Virginia area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame as well as a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from the University of Alabama. She completed her dietetic internship program through Virginia Tech University. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, running, hiking and traveling. Kathleen enjoys counseling patients and their families on weight management, proper nutrition for food allergies and nutrition for gastrointestinal diseases, and hopes to incorporate nutritional genomics in clinical practice in the future.
