Alison Totta RDN, LDN, is an outpatient pediatric dietitian specializing in treating feeding and eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder. Alison earned her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences and completed the didactic program in dietetics at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship through Simmons College in Boston, MA. At this program, Alison trained in a variety of community hospitals serving incarcerated, homeless and low-income populations in greater-Boston.

Since her internship, Alison has worked in a variety of eating disorder treatment settings, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. At Children’s National, Alison is the outpatient eating disorder dietitian working with both the Adolescent Medicine and Psychiatry services. Alison has also worked with patients at Children’s National’s general nutrition clinics. Alison is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
