Jasmine Stevens, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist that joined the Children’s National in 2016. She specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), cochlear implant and language disorders and development. Ms. Stevens feels these areas are key as a clinician providing therapeutic and familial education to the patients we serve going through the cochlear implant candidacy process. Her goal is to continue to stay abreast on research and therapeutic services/techniques that can be beneficial for the deaf/hard of hearing and cochlear implant populations. Her professional experience includes early intervention therapy services, public educational and specialized school settings and outpatient centers. Ms. Stevens received her bachelors in communication sciences and disorders in 2010, and her masters in speech-language pathology in 2012 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
