The Children’s National Montgomery County Ambulatory Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art surgical facility specifically for children. Our center was designed with families in mind, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for you and your child.

We offer a wide range of outpatient specialty surgical services for children in our two operating rooms, staffed by our nationally-recognized pediatric surgeons. We guarantee a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist 24/7.

Chest Wall Defects: Nuss and Ravitch Technique

Our general and thoracic surgery experts perform the Nuss and Ravitch procedures for children with chest wall defects.


Syncope is a temporary loss of consciousness and muscle tone caused by inadequate blood supply to the brain. Syncope is sometimes also called fainting.
