Shivani M. Bhatt, M.D., is a pediatric cardiologist at the Children’s National Heart Institute. Dr. Bhatt sees patients at the main hospital and regional outpatient centers in Maryland. Dr. Bhatt completed residency training in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology fellowship and advanced fellowship in non-invasive cardiac imaging and clinical research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Bhatt is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She specializes in echocardiography and fetal echocardiography. Her clinical practice focuses on inpatient and outpatient cardiology, non-invasive imaging and fetal cardiology. Dr. Bhatt’s clinical research interests include myocardial deformational imaging to assess cardiac function, exercise stress echocardiography to evaluate cardiac mechanics and exercise performance, as well as improving quality of life in patients with congenital heart disease.

Dr. Bhatt has presented her research at many national meetings and published several peer-reviewed publications.
