Biography

Lisa Efron, Ph.D., specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with behavioral disorders. She directs the Hyperactivity, Attention, and Learning Problems (HALP) Clinic, which is an evaluation clinic for children between the ages of 4 and 18 who are grappling with school problems. The HALP Clinic is located at Children's National Northern Virginia. Dr. Efron also serves as the Director of Training for Professional Psychology at Children’s National Hospital. She is very involved with training psychology graduate students, interns, and fellows, many of whom rotate through the HALP Clinic. She is involved in clinical research and has presented and published widely on a variety of issues pertaining to children’s mental health.
