Linda Herbert, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital. Dr. Herbert is Director of the Children's National Division of Allergy and Immunology – Psychosocial Research and Clinical Program. She coordinates outpatient consultation and therapy services; she also conducts NIH-funded research. Dr. Herbert’s research interests include the identification of medical and psychosocial factors related to food allergy management, and the development of clinical interventions for youth with food allergies and their families.
Dr. Herbert volunteers her professional time to FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) and speaks at child health community events and national conferences. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, cooking, glass blowing and traveling with her husband and daughter.
