Laura Tochen, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist with additional expertise in movement disorders. She joined Children's National after completing a fellowship in movement disorders at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She treats children with tics, Tourette Syndrome, dystonia, ataxia, and chorea.

Dr. Tochen has a particular interest in the use of deep brain stimulation to treat pediatric movement disorders. Her research interests include investigating the anatomical mechanisms underlying movement disorders and improvements in treatment options. In her spare time, Dr. Tochen enjoys traveling and cooking.
