Lakshmi Sridhar, M.S, M.D, FAAP, earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and went on to earn her M.D. from St. George's University in Grenada. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital of New Jersey (Rutgers-RWJ-Newark Beth Israel) in Newark, NJ. She continued there as chief resident and a general pediatrician. Dr. Sridhar has also spent time as a community pediatric emergency medicine physician at Chilton Medical Center Atlantic Health Systems in Pompton Plains, NJ. She went on to complete her neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship along with a M.S. in Health Professions Education at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.
Dr. Sridhar is now an attending neonatologist at Children's National Hospital. Her clinical and research interests are in telesimulation, distance learning, simulation, education, point of care ultrasound, and quality improvement.
