Katherine Voglmayr, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She is specialized in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and uses this treatment approach in her work with children and families struggling with eating disorders.
Since 2012, Ms. Voglmayr has also worked in a private group practice that provides mental health treatment to adolescent and families in Maryland. Ms. Voglmayr has worked with children, adolescents, couples and families in a variety of settings, including therapeutic foster care, adoption agencies, multicultural youth centers and mental health clinics.
Ms. Voglmayr received a master's in social work from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration (with a specialization in Family Support) and a bachelor of arts from Haverford College. In addition to her training in FBT, Ms. Voglmayr also holds post-graduate certificate in the treatment of children and adolescents with anxiety.
