Dr. Verbesey is very committed to the growth of the kidney transplant program at Children’s National. With her exceptional guidance, we have expanded our living donor program. In 2012, our center performed 9 transplants including 3 living donors. In 2016, we performed 21 transplants including 12 living donors. These numbers make us one of the busiest pediatric programs on the East Coast.
