She has extensive experience in pediatric and adult kidney transplantation, in addition to donor laparoscopic nephrectomies.
Dr. Verbesey is very committed to the growth of the kidney transplant program at Children’s National. With her exceptional guidance, we have expanded our living donor program. In 2012, our center performed nine transplants including three living donors. In 2016, we performed 21 transplants including 12 living donors. These numbers make us one of the busiest pediatric programs on the East Coast.
