Jennifer Martelle Tu, M.D., Ph.D., joins the Children’s National Health System Division of Neurology after working as a child neurology fellow at the University of California San Francisco. At Children’s National, she mainly works with patients with movement disorders and headache conditions. Dr. Tu has a special interest in neuropharmacology and its application to the neurocircuitry involved in movement control and the generation of pain.

Dr. Tu enjoys taking care of patients with complex medical histories and diagnostically challenging disorders. She also finds it very rewarding to care for patients that are neuro-typical and are referred to a neurologist for specific questions such as “post-concussive headache” or “staring spells.”
